Simple Life..

Well as promised.. Now it's time to fulfill them. Pretty much this entry is not going to be for the faint hearted and those who are hemophobic but I can guarantee you after all those gruesome pictures I have a special treat on the ending of the entry.

I don't know why I took pictures of them but pretty much I just find them interesting and maybe those others who are interested in knowing about the Sacrificial Ceremony during our celebration of Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji. What do we normally do and what do they do it for? Anyways I won't really go into much details but just a brief idea about the whole thing.

Still I believe I will just let the pictures do the story with a little of words. So here how my journey begins.

Photobucket
[Me on a ferry towards Batam.]

Photobucket
[First destination reached.]

Photobucket
[I know I shouldn't wear black.Fine weather but HOT!]

Photobucket
[Van ride to Telaga Punggur. About 20 - 30 minutes ride.]

[Some things for viewing pleasure..]

Photobucket
[Arrive at Destination two. Now just waiting for the boat.]

Photobucket
[I just have to show this picture. Adorable ain't she? My Niece.]

Photobucket
[20 minutes of waiting now we are on our way to our Final Destination!!]

Photobucket
[Yeah.. I know.. Sardines.. Packed..]

Photobucket
[Nice eh?]

Photobucket
[This is nicer..]

Photobucket
[Haha!!]

Photobucket
[Take another 5 mins taxi ride to Home..]

Photobucket
[This mosque is opposite my humble house.]

Photobucket
[My home]

Photobucket
[Yeah. Believe it or not. It has been 3 years since I last stepped into this house.]

Photobucket
[Tadaima..(I'm Back / Home)]

Photobucket
[This is what I was looking outside my window.]

Photobucket
[Rain heavily the next day.]

Photobucket
[Strong wind.. look at the trees..]

Photobucket
[This is how normally we have our water supplies. Rain water but of course we use a different water for drinking. This is for washing. Haha!!]

Alright. Now we are going into the read deal. Haha. Get your eyes prepared and those of you who are having your food don't watch unless you want to go on a diet. Haha. Well it's not that disgusting. Wait until you watch the video. HAHAHA!!

Photobucket
[Introducing the Cow. Yeah skinny but it's a village cow what do you expect?]

Photobucket
[Introducing the Goats.]

Photobucket
[People helping out to hold the cow and a man that will slaughter.]

Before he slaughter the cows or the goats he will first say a prayer which I had no idea what prayer exactly and after the prayer he will then perform the slaughtering.

Photobucket
[Now it's done.. Oops.. Should have warn ya about the neck..]

Photobucket
[Close up of it.. Hahaha!!]

Photobucket
[Now the goats]

Photobucket
[Lots of people witnessing the sacred ceremony.]

Photobucket
[Ok another Cow]

Photobucket
[Believe it or not.. the blood sprayed out of the veins..]

Photobucket
[So banana leaf was use to cover from more spillage.]

Photobucket
[Crimson Blood... Hahaha!!]

Photobucket
[Preparing the goat to be divided and given to the villagers as an offering/donation to them for the needy people]

Photobucket
[Same for the cow as well..]

Photobucket
[This is where we sort the meats out.. Like playing cards eh? lol..]

Photobucket
[Yum yum.. You guys turn into vegetarian yet?]

Photobucket
[Not yet? How about this?]

Alright. Let's see the real deal. This is a video of a Cow being slaughtered.

[So is your stomach still strong? If yes, welcome to the club.]

Photobucket
[Well smile faces now.. Don't think of the cows no more.. or the goats..]

Sunset
[Lets rest for the night and have a great day ahead.]

Photobucket
[Oyasuminasai (Good night)]

Photobucket
[Next morning was high tide and believe me when I say it's deep. I've swim in it.]

Photobucket
[Still not convince?]

Photobucket
[I'll Prove it to ya.. but before that...]

Photobucket
[Ain't she gorgeous?!]

Photobucket
[Look at those golden eyes..]

Photobucket
[Just look at the pattern of her fur.. so beautiful..]

Photobucket
[See it's high so it's deep. This is during low tide..]

Photobucket
[See how tall the woods are supporting the house? Hehe..]

Photobucket
[If you were to explore underneath the house during low tide you could find this.. a Dead baby octopus..]

Photobucket
[Finally a night with a full moon. The only best shot I got so far..]

Photobucket
[A Great morning.. Ohayou]

Photobucket
[Well time to go back..]

Photobucket
[Next time I'm riding this around the village..]

Photobucket
[Well see ya again..]

Photobucket
[Lunch. Itadakimasu!!]

Photobucket
[Finally a nice ferry ride back to Singapore..]

Well as promised also. A Nature's treat.. Enjoy the scenes.. May not as many but these are the few make me feel at ease.

Well, yeah. I know. Most of the pictures are like a repeat but I thought I just shared them all. Different colors give different story and feeling. Especially the negative pictures. Ririn knows it feels like Hecco Mundo. Haha.
